Flexible & Stretchable Displays 

Our team is developing stretchable, high-reliability OLED displays and researching technologies that seamlessly adapt to free-form shapes. We are leading the improvement of resolution reliability, developing robust manufacturing processes, and designing innovative 3D structures. These advancements address issues in resolution and durability, increasing the practical applicability of wearable and automotive electronics. Our key achievements include methods to improve the resolution fill factor during stretching and minimize distortion after repeated stretching. Additionally, we have completed a stretchable OLED display system integrated with 3D features.


Truly Wearable & Textile Displays 

Fabricating OLEDs and transistors on a fiber & textile that people actually wear and use. Our group ultimately pursue a wearable display system.  We perform mechanical property analysis, characterization of substrates analysis, and process suitability improvement  with optimization.  Through these processes, we realize high-efficiency and high-reliability OLED fabrication and driving in fiber-based and woven materials. Our group lead the development of wearable OLED display systems. These systems enable applications in the bio-medical field and wearable display platforms.
